well, this may come as a bit of a shock, but i do textiles as well! took it up as an AS when i decided i was going back for a third year of sixth form, after only using a sewing machine since september this is what i can now do...
so yeah, i got bored of saturday so got out the sewing machine, have wanted to do some canvas pieces for my wall, so thought id make a start and this is what i came up with
created using random bits of material i had left over from my project im doing at school
Aplique and free machine embroidary
took 4hours
i showed it might teacher and she was so impressed she wants me to use it as part of my project cause she says she can link it in! so much for art for my wall!

(oh and as someone pointed out to me, PLEASE FULL VIEW, as you miss a lot of the detail if you don't!)
aww cool hun, i love the circules, and the use of diffrent fabrics is cool , shame it wont be on ye wall tho, but at least you have more for you project which means a better mark ...good going .

thankyou...il get it back eventually but im sure il have made something else before then, so i don't really mind. well fingers crossed, they like development, shows progression of work and where you would potentially go with it if you had more time...so woo!
